Community Inclusion Programs
Explorer. Focus.
JGW Living offers two Community Inclusion programs for adults with diverse abilities: the Explorer program in Nanaimo, BC, and the Focus program in Parksville, BC.
Community Inclusion ensures that individuals with diverse abilities can fully participate in all aspects of community life—social, recreational, educational, vocational, and cultural. Our programs are dedicated to breaking down barriers and promoting diversity, equality, and accessibility.
Our skilled staff support participants in developing the skills needed for community integration and recreation. Each day begins with a morning meeting where participants plan and choose activities. The program fosters mental well-being, helps individuals achieve personal goals, and enhances their engagement and satisfaction with social and recreational opportunities.
